coolent fan not working

Default coolent fan not working

Coolent fan not coming on any ideas? the fan definatly works and i bought a new relay switch im thinking it could the engine coolent temp sensor.When i drive down the highway the car doesnt over heat as soon as i stop at a light the temp goes right up.Oh it a 94 with a 3.4 in it

first thing,check your grounds.

It is possibly a ECT sensor as you said. I believe the 3.4 had two (one for the fan/ECM, and one for the gauge).

i changed both still not working i dont know whats going on but its pissing me off

Does it come on when you turn the a/c on?

no it dont i let the car run for a while let the temp go up and it dont come on ive changed the relay both temp sensors so it must be the wiring theres gotta be a short in it some were
