Coolant temperature sensor location- 2000 ls1
it was very bad before the sensor swap, now it is ocasionally, yeah im a rockauto customer too, but i think i was in a rush when doing that..
the delphi part is $16, i think maybe i will take a gamble. I cant think of anything else, even mechanic friends are stumped, no exhaust leak before the cats or vacuum leaks either.
another thing i noticed as of the past few months, there is an occasional stumble, however i cant duplicate it( ie going up hill, driving at a certain speed/rpm), its totally random, and reading about the lt1`s with the two sensors, some folks cured that issue with replacing the sensor, which is why im thinking of changing..

I think you'd know if your car wasn't going into closed loop mode, you'd be running rich all the time. If your gauge is working as it should, I doubt I'd blame the ECT. Nobody ever installed one of those resistor "chip" things on your air temperature sensor by chance? Speaking of which, have you cleaned yours? That can have an effect on gas mileage and performance.
