so i got the new clutch in and everything hooked up.

car is still grinding away in the first three gears.

going into a tranny shop this morning and going to have it checked out.

if this thing needs a new tranny, might just have to end up looking around for an LS1 and a t-56 from a wrecking yard.

 

Got her into the shop this morning, one of these old guys that does strictly transmissions in his very nice little shop.

He took her for a spin, came back and said I didn't have very much transmission left, lol.

Got to talking with him and he started digging around.

A couple year ago he a bought a Tremec five speed. Sure enough, the tranny I need. Transmission has 2800 kms, (1700 miles) on it. Sold it to me for $800. So now I have put in almost $1300 in the tranny and new clutch. This thing had better run perfect now!
