Lightbulb Clutch problem

Clutch prob.. ok so we did a complete overhaul rebuild on my 2001 3.8 5 speed. Got everything back together and hooked up. She starts without a prob. Already did the initial break in but here is where it gets interesting. We purged the clutch but still no pressure. We did this a few times and the hose keeps popping off. Any suggestions please.

I'm assuming you're trying to bleed the clutch system, what I don't understand is what hose keeps popping off. Are you using something like a Mighty Vac pump to bleed with and the vac hose from the pump to the clutch master cylinder pops off? Otherwise, the hose going to the bearing from the master cylinder cannot have any leaks in the system to properly bleed and it has to withstand the hydraulic pressure from the master cylinder or it will have to be replaced. I've attached a page from the factory service manual that may help. You may want to pay attention to the instructions to pump the clutch pedal rapidly to force any air back up to the master cylinder.

You could place a plate over the top of the reservior and attach a hand vacuum pump to the same plate and suck out the air.
Or, using the same hand pump, pump fluid into the actuator bleeder, after coating bleeder threads with petro jelly, and pump fluid into bleeder and fill reservior from the bottom as this action removes air.

There was a plastic clip ring that hold the hydraulic hose in place and it broke. Went to the help section in AutoZone to get a new one. Haven't had a prob with it popping off since. Thank you for the advice.
