My SES light went on and it reads that its a knock sensor, i originally thought it was just a sensor in need of replacing. But if you listen carefully when youre accelerating, you can hear a VERY quiet clicking noise coming from the driver side of the engine. But it only does it if youre accelerating slowly, not when youre not moving or when you get on it. Any suggestions? Oh, and im not losing any power from it, in fact its not affecting the car at all. Advice??? Thanks guys.

No, its just a very quiet clicking sound, but goes away when you accelerate hard.

 

Did you fix the knock sensor problem? If the CEL is lit, ther is a problem, and it should be addressed first before trying to fix things that may not need fixing. What KS code are you getting?
