Yeah I have the same problem with my 99 V6 T56. When I'm stopped I get a click noise and when I push in the clutch it dulls the noise. I took it into a transmission shop and a guy took it for a test drive with me to check that it was going into gear alright. They told me it's pretty common on manual trannys for thebarrings to make noiseand not to worry about it if I'm not having trouble with it shifting while driving. But then again this is the same guy that after he test drove my car asked me if it was a pontiac and didn't know if it was a V6 or a V8 [:@]...?

well yeah, yesterday when i was sittin at a stop like i heard something like it too, its like a click...........doo da loo loo la loo de da doo da de daa....click........yeah, idk where it sounds like its coming from...but it sounds similar to what you say your hearing
