97 Z28. There are 2 sockets in the centre console. The LH one ( in front of the shift lever ) has no power but the RH 2nd socket ( in front of the park brake lever ) works ok. I have checked Fuse 11 Cigar/Accy and that is ok. The working socket is live at all times should the other switch operate with the ignition ? It stays dead no matter what I do. Thought I would ask before I start pulling things apart. Thanks.

 

have you puta voltage meter on it? Sick

 

Yep, metered it at the weekend and there's nothing there. Checked the live one with the meter and 12V.
