Hi I cant figure out what going on when I open the door the chime sounds like the key and lights are on ,
I have the lights off and key removed . what else will make it sound like this .
is something sticking causing it to sound .
I don't know much about this car I just acquired it last Saturday .
I'm new to this car now any info will help this is my first Camaro ever .
Of course corvette is my dream car

Yes the lights on the dash are on .
i just get the stupid chime
I just don't know what's going on
It's telling me something on right

 

Is this happening upon exiting the car after shutting it off or entering? There is a last door locking and lockout prevention feature that could be programed by the previous owner. The Owners Manual will tell you how to determine if that is the case and how to change the settings. If you don't have the manual, let me know and I will post a pdf of the pages containing this information for your model year car.
