Default change oil light wont go off

i just changed my oil and the change oil light still come on when i start my car. but if i drive it down the road 30 seconds later it will go off. I replaced the oil pressure sensor awhile back. anybody have any ideas?

The oil life monitor doesn't know you changed the oil till you tell it by resetting it.
The procedure is in your owners manual, and looks like this:

I also just realized that maybe you don't have an owners manual, which can come in very handy for occasions like this.

To reset the oil light hold the trip meter reset button down for 12 seconds. It'll blink a couple of times and turn off. This will also reset your trip meter, so you'll be outta luck if you're trying to keep track of your mileage.

Also, if you don't have an owners manual then download it from the link provided by Camaro 69. It doesn't come in handy often but it does help at times.
