You'll get a few HP, but nothing too noticeable. That said the exhaust note will change quite a bit, it's going to be a bit more raspy and poppy...

And there's always that funky gas smell (especially right after start up). For some of us, like me, that doesn't matter at all! haha

I say the catless sound is not desirable... Better off putting on a high-flow cat, imho...

I never smelt gas it will help if you have done something on the intake side. If your car is like my 95 before they started putting o2sensors after the cats you won't have a service light. If you do you may want to put a high flow cat or simulators on, so your car doesn't run in loop mode.

Since his name has 95 in it, I'd say he's probably doesn't need to worry about aft-cat O2 sensors. I've never had the smell of gas from a catless car, they just have a cat-less smell about them...

Default Try a high flow replacement...

Hello, I recently tried the catless route and my car got alot louder and was pretty stinky. I got a Magnaflow high flow cat replacement for less than 100$ on ebay. It was a weld in job so it was time consuming but the car sounds good and doesn't stink (my car is a convertible) plus I think these engines run better with alittle back pressure. Good luck and shop around alittle.
