Have you ever done this type of work before? Even with all new GM parts these parts will not just bolt on. They will need adjusted. Just getting a hood aligned right can be a pain sometimes. Have you got a quote on the painting? You will need to blend all the way back to the quaters. You will need to reclear the whole car. Will you be painting the inner parts? that all should be automotive grade paint or better so it holds up. If your not doing any of the painting I see this project heading for the north side a 4K quickly.
Hello, I have recently seen used front clips for sale on ebay for less than 1000$. This is everything body wise in front of windshield and they will ship. The seller name is fparts and they have tons of cool stuff for fbodies, corvettes, impalas, etc. Check them out for advise as well, they are in P.A. and are very helpful people who love these cars like we all do. This will save you big$ and provide you with all the nickle and dime stuff that the dealer can only get.
