Car won't start.....Did Vats ByPass
I did the key bypass a couple of weeks ago with resisters from Radio Shack.........
everything worked fine for a couple of weeks.....
today I went to start the car and nothing happened and the security light is now on. (its not blinking)
I thought the key bypass was the fix any ideas what happened?
Update.....later in the day.,.....I tried again , nothing,
I let the key on for 10 minutes and tried the car again, it starts now but the security light is still on.

I soldered them.

I'd start by double checking the solder connections and the resistance value. What type of resistor and what wattage did you use? The cheap 1/8 watt carbon resistors at RS are not the highest quality.
If you put in a resistor that was just on the edge of the VATS table value, it could possibly be that the resistance is just off enough to not start.
