That's good to know. Guess I'll swap my PCM and try to figure out the speed difference until i get my new rear end in. I'll try the PCM swap and see if the codes come back.

if the pcm is tuned the tune my have went wack.

Its still the stock PCM in it right now. Been waiting for a few parts before i put my tuned PCM in.

ok so i have tried replacing the pcm and the problems were still the same. the only code i keep getting is the ect sensor code so i'm going to replace that tonight or tomorrow afternoon. i'm also going to replace the t-stat. I also pulled my #1 + #2 spark plug and they are both just covered in carbon with a huge gap so those are being replaced as well. the wires are still good. Hopefully doing this well help the no start problem and the insane random idle. If it still wont start i'll look into the fuel system and check pressures and maybe pull the injectors.

Also what is the recommended spark plug gap? is it 0.060?

ok so i replaced my ect sensor and now it purrs like a kitten. i decided to regap my plugs instead. i also left my t-stat alone since it looked good. got a spare just incase i ever need to do a quick change.

kool. if your plugs are fouled (black) it would be a good idea to replace them.

It was only the 2 front plugs that were black. The others were fine. This winter I'll change them when I hopefully pull the engine to rebuild it.
