Can't complete EGR during drive cycle
Hey guys, I'm not able to complete EGR for the drive cycle, I have a 2000 v6 camaro (stick), I've cleared the codes then did GM's drive cycle, both my EVAP and EGR monitors are not ready but in California you'll still pass inspection with your EVAP as not ready. I replaced my EGR valve and checked for any carbon buildup between the exhaust manifold and the intake. All of my other monitors are checked ready, any ideas? (My TPS is reading 7% at idle) I'm not sure if that's normal on these cars, however, I haven't done any voltage testing on my TPS. The only reason I bring this up is because in the drive cycle for your EGR you have to let off the throttle and not touch any pedals.
I discovered that one of my hose lines from my egr to my intake is loose, I'm going to be replacing it to see if that'll make it set, I'm not sure if there are any sensors there though that confirm that the egr gas got into the intake, or any sensors that confirm there is a vacuum (between the egr and the intake) when the egr valve is closed. If there were any gaps/leaks in between the egr valve and the intake it would act as though there were a vacuum leak right?
I'm having the same problem on my 2002 V6 camaro. Can't get the EGR test to complete after countless attempts.. how did you get this resolved? Battery died, because you know.. pandemic life. No issues before, and now won't pass. Will check the hoses today.
