Update: Lately I've been looking a little out of my area to get price ideas, I mean it's still in the state but I see cheap priced Camaros, but on the other hand who knows what's wrong with them (besides the problems they have listed)

Heres a few I've found:
95 Chevy Camaro- 5spd
1996 camaro rs clean VERY FAST CAR
96 LT1 Camaro

you'll be better off buying a 98+ v6 car then an LT1 car, those things are nothing but trouble

I haven't had a single powertrain problem with my LT1... just the usual f-body crap. Busted rear, dying fuel pump, etc. Just find a car that hasn't been abused.

Also, the Opti is not that big of a problem if it's vented and properly maintained. Just don't go driving into a lake.

here's a question. Are you ready, willing and able to buy today or next week?

Possibly. What's wrong with salad shooters?

to #1- that is the only time when you the buyer will find out the true price of a vehicle, when you have cash on hand t negotiate with a ready/willing/able seller

to #2- they are fine in the kitchen but do not belong on Camaros. Next to plain old steel wheels, they are the most butt ugly wheels I've ever seen

Here, here!

LT1s must be shopped carefully, but a good, fun, torqy ride ishad for the money.

3800 v6 cars make good power and speed, so concur re '98 and later v6 cars...
