please Help! I have a Camaro rs 1996 that had a keyless entry remote and it worked great, today i put anew after market Head unit with GPS all in one evry thing is working fine but something happnd to my keyless entry it dose work but only if i stand very close to the car and only in some areas around the car most of them in the front of the car before that it worked from long distance no meter where i stand

I know this may sound silly, but check the batteries. Also, if someone pressed the buttons hard it may have deformed the leads in the remote. Take it apart and replace the batteries with thicker ones. (I had the exact same problem and that worked for me.)
