Default Calling Frame/Body guys - Damage found question

I could use an opinion here from someone that is familiar with frame work. I just picked up this 4th gen and I have put some money into routine maintenance that she desperately needed. Now that I have the motor running as she should I have moved on to address other issues and now this... Should I expect the spot in the pictures to get worse? It looks like it may not be in a problem area but that isn't in my area of expertise.

Thanks in advance for any knowledge!

Step one is to take measurement. Pick up points like the strut location pins and measure X pattern to make sure the car is still square. You may want to do the same thing vertically but that will be tuff with the motor in. You should also take it for alignment. If they can not get it in spec she is going to need to be pulled.

If she seems square and aligns in spec your good. Normally I am not a big fan of strut tower braces but in your case it would be a good investment.
