Been a huge storm hear over the passed few days. Needless to say the roads are very wet. Took my Z out for a cruise and went round a round-a-bout a bit to fast..Next minute major overstear and I spun out. Sort of corrected it but lucky no one was in the other lane or it may not have ended so well. Luckily no one was around except one guy who gave me an evil look.
Its not like me, I've been driving RWD v8's for years and I know how frisky the back can get.
Anyone else got any stories like this? Also, the traction control/ASR did nothing..Whats that actually good for?

I am a little embarrassed to say I have been spinning out Camaros for the last 30 years. Most of the time in road racing that’s what gives up the ship first. When it is wet it is a lot worse in all the generations.
Before anyone starts busting kohonas if you have not spun you’re Camaro around do you really know where her limit is? I know exactly the breaking point of my 96 wet and dry. I did not learn that by reading a book or studying driving techniques. You learn it by pushing the car to its limits in a controlled environment so you don’t get surprises when other car/people are around.
I was racing a big block mopar back in 83 with my 74, Only chance I had was corners. I pushed her a little too hard. I went over a 8 inch curb at almost 100 MPH. The last 75 ft I did without a rear axel housing. Took me a year to get her back in shape

I spun out on the interstate once....some guy in a lifted truck cut me off, one emergency lane change and an over correction later I was sliding sideways down the highway and came to a stop facing oncoming traffic. So the 21 year old version of myself (i'm 28 now) whipped the car around in a big puff of tire smoke to go and catch up with the guy.......to do what......probably just be angry in a car that had no business pissing off some ****** in a really big truck, but what 21 year old thinks clearly. I finally found the guy and he had been pulled over about 5 miles down the highway...I was no longer angry, and commenced laughing hysterically.
