A/C evap & heater core seals
Hi everyone,
I'm rebuilding my A/C system with all new parts after a compressor failure, and while getting to the evaporator (and needing to remove the heater core), I decided to just replace the heater core as well. Only issue so far is that the evaporator and heater core pipes both have a gasket or seal. The evaporator gasket (GM 52458972) is in bad shape and partially split. New part didn't come with one, and the GM part seems to be discontinued. The heater core pipe seal (GM 52458961) hasn't faired much better.
The GM manual says to replace the evap gasket. What should I do here if I'm finding nothing to replace these seals with?
