Default a/c, defrost, heat selector sw Fixed

Hi guys, new to the forum and new owner of a 97 camaro, 6cyl, have been searching for this problem for a while with no luck. maybe searching wrong. Anyway there is no difference where i put the switch, blows out at defrost , have been searching for a vac leak with no luck but while chasing hoses I found this connector and took it apart and there is no vac at all. Is there supposed to be and if so where do i look next, thanks, capt

Changed this two way check valve that was cracked and clogged and it did the trick. I was not getting any vacuum at the fitting behind the glove box so I traced it back to here v, (a $4.00 part @ carquest)

It is nice when folks update their threads with their findings. That last post could potentially solve the same problem for another member.

I belong to a few different forums, and I look for answers just like everyone else, and if nobody posted up there findings , it would be just another chat room.
