Default best performance clutch

So my clutch fork snapped in half and I took out my trans. I am going to replace the clutch since i have the trans out and I am wondering what the best aftermarket clutch is (unless chevy has a good performance one). It's a daily driver for sure, and am planning on having quit a bit of power in it some day. It can't be way expensive. any opinions?

I've heard center force is good. I looked at their site and their different clutches. The dual friction sounds like what i want but is too expensive. The stage 1 clutch I'm sure is too light, but when i put in the make, model, and year to see what clutches they had they don't have any stage 2 clutches for a 96' Z28. Is this right? I either have to go with a lower stage 1 or expensive dual friction if i get centerforce? any other good clutches that have a stage 2 for 96' Z28s?

Default RE: best performance clutch

Sorry I only know of LS1 stuff. But I do know that SPEC makes clutches in a bunch of "stages". And they seem to be the overall best bang for the buck. As far as really superior stuff...then Trextalia is the way to go... but don't know if they make em for LT1's. Good luck finding what you need
