belt tensioner

Default belt tensioner

need to put my belt on but cant figure out how to lower the belt tensioner...feels to good out to be stuck @ home

put a wrench on the and turn counter clock.

ok i guess the previous owner stripped the inside of where the bolt goes on the pulley...how can i repair or do i have to replace...someone mentioned a spacer not sure what that is or how it works

would be best to pick up a new one rather than try and repair something that will most likely fail sooner than later.

OK..Its currently holding right now.Noticed the problem when trying to resolve the ringing sound of the pulley slightly touching the alternator. How do i remove that piece ? Look as if its connected to the alternator...will try to post pics

its part of the mount if i remember right. heres the part if the link works. RockAuto Parts Catalog get new plastic elbows to.
