If your cam bearings are causing you noise that you can hear outside the engine then the squeek is not the only problem you are going to be having. Babbot bearings dont make any noise, they are a lead alloy smooth face bearing. No moving parts and they are made of soft metal so they are quiet. I would look at the water pump and the other pulleys. Remove the belt and check by hand and see if that helps like some one on the other page said.

Try a small shot of WD40 on the belt again and see if it goes away again for a little while again. If it does it is not a bearing. Just make sure you spray only a small amount and it only gets on the belt.

I used to use a wax marker and hit the inside of the belt. If the noise goes away its a belt noise if not its a bearing or the tensioner. Look at how the belt is sitting on the tensioner. You should not see a "tilt" in the tensioner.

Water pumps are easy repairs you can do it yourself for about $75 or less for a 3.4 or 3.8 and about $120 for the LT1 pump. Sorry I cant remember the engine you have in your car. Make sure you purge the cooling system of the air before you drive the car.
