Default Squeaking

I just changed my clutch about a month a ago. When I have my foot off the clutch there is this loud squeaking. It has got progessively louder. But when my foot is just slightly on the clutch pedal the squeaking stops. I got the flywheel turned and followed the my book. I did put the flywheel on a little tighter than it should be (user error with torque wrench).

Thanks for any info you can give me

It's your belt tensioner. My car does the same thing.

my belt tensioner? Like serp belt? So I just need a new one? I guess I dont understand why putting your foot on the clutch a little bit makes it go away.

Thanks

Well I found out why it was squeaking. Its the Clutch fork. I put it in correctly. I made sure of that because I was told by many people and places the wrong way that a lot of people do. But both ends were in and not out on the realse bearing. Well when I went under my car and pushed up on the clutch fork boot it stopped squeaking. Now to find out what the heck happened and how to fix it.

For search purposes my problem was fixed by putting high temp grease on the clutch fork ball stud and washer. Something I forgot to do lol.
