Bad starter?

Really? It's a walmart brand "everlast" and it looks fairly newish (no corrosion) but it does charge up kind of fast. When I turn my car on while the charger is on (by the way the charger shows the voltage, thats how I can see it) the voltage springs up, im assuming the alternator, but I guarantee in a couple days it wont start again. Could it still be the starter draining the battery while I start it up?

i had a battery that would discharge itself overnight on the forklift, even if i unhooked it. them dang things are not cheap.
