Default axle shaft

Today i replaced the rear brakes on my car and i noticed the rotor on the driver side was warped. But it was really the axle shaft. when the wheels on i spin the wheel and it woobles about 1/8-1/4 inch side to side. Im sure it happened when i let a friend drive it and he spin out hitting a curd and braking the wheel. I checked to see if it was bent but i guess i didnt look good enough. My questions are, how hard is it to pull out the axle shaft because at a local salave yard they will sell one from a 95 camaro of $10 if i pull it. Other wise it looks like about $65 for a used one off ebay. will one from a 95 camaro even fit my 98? there both v6's with out tcs.

Thanks

all you need to do is pull off all the brake stuff, the diff cover and pull out the clip that holds the axle in place then you just slide out the axle and slide in the new one dont forget to put the clip back in bolt up the cover and the brakes and go have fun... also new fluid and a new gasket

I'd also think twice about letting your "friend" drive the car again.
I wonder what else he did to the car that didn't leave any obvious evidence?

Ya it seems like every time I let some one borrow it something happens, like when I let my dad drive it he seized the engine.
