I have a 2001 camaro ss. it is an automatic and I am thinking about switching the auto to a manual. Could someone please list for me all of the parts I would need to purchase. Also after purchasing all of the parts how much on the swap should i be looking at spending with a mechanics shop. Thanks

You're going to want to just sell the car you have now and find the same car with a manual; it will end up costing way more in parts and labor to convert an automatic car than it is worth.

 

Why don't you just put in a high stall torque converter, it will make the car more fun to drive, plus you will put a hurt on other cars from a dig.
