anyone sell unique body kit/mods for 4th gen?
Here is a link to a pic of the door style I refer too. I've seen them called Gullwing and raised doors.

I think it is funny that Wikipedia uses the picture of a Bricklin and the Delorean. Most people think Delorean designed his car. He bought Bricklin and 80% of the design of it new model was already done. I am sure he tweaked it but it’s a lot easier then starting from scratch.
Who names a car with the word brick in it? It’s a little ironic since the biggest complaint about the Bricklin was the weight.

Bricklin was the guys last name. Guess some just like to use their own name.
Don't know where you heard about DeLorean buying Bricklin to gain the design, no mention of that in any of the company history write ups that I've read.
There is this though "DeLorean hired the famed Giorgetto Giugiaro of Ital Design and Colin Chapman of Lotus to assist in creating the DMC-12". Was the Bricklin the "inspiration" behind parts of the DeLorean design, I'm sure it was.

This is cut from a TV shop Chop cut rebuild.
I saw another interview with one of the designer of the SV-1 and the SV-2 Prototype (AKA the Grey Ghost) who said many of his designs made it into the DMC first car.
That's different, DeLorean didn't "buy" Bricklin. He hired the Bricklin crew and Malcolm gave him the plans for his pre-prototype car. That explains why I didn't see anything in the history about DeLorean buying Bricklin.

I watch the show like 5 years ago, I got some of the facts mixed up
Guess the timing work out well for Delorean. How often can you find a group of X Corvette engineers that are use to working with each other. 9 month Concept to Production is insane. Just getting GM to change a thread size on a part can take 6 months.
