Another z28 wont start issue.

test grey wire for power at the connector by the rearend, should be on the drivers side by the brake line.

should i unplug the connector and check the prong that ultimately connects the grey wire?

right, you are trying to confirm that power is getting to that connection. i thinking you should pick up or rent a fuel pressure tester and test the fuel pressure if you havent done so yet. i think you said you did. i better go back and read the first page lol.

if the fuel pressure is low we need to make sure power is getting to the pump. if it is then it may be the pump or connections inside the tank have failed. could also be the hose from the pump has come lose, have heard of that happening, or could be pump is failing already. injectors are still firing right?

hehe :] yea craby. ive had a pressure gauge on the shrader for a week now :] and i took the pump out yesterday and everything was nice. also when i put 12v straight to the grey wire (right before the yellow cap) the pump put up 41+ psi. its gotta be the wiring mang

before it died, the fuel gauge was going crazy, what could make this happen?

the connection to the sending unit (same for the fuel pump) would be a good place to start.

Ok, i have no power at that back connector even if i have 12v right off the relay. i gave it into a good shop. idc
