Be sure to bleed the coolant system. People new to these cars forget.

I personally own a 96 camaro RS I can say on there behalf they are amazing cars, just do your maintenance. A car is only as good as its owner.

I don't have snow tires myself, but I have considered it if I upgrade to better rims. A narrower tire would be better in snow, so I would go 225/60R16. It would be similar size sidewall, and it's a VERY common size, so you would have a good selection to choose from.

All sounds great! Car is scheduled to get maintenance done this week, so far I'm loving the ride much better than my kia.

Yeah, just a little bit of an upgrade over a Kia.

haha yeah, it was a fun little car, but I was just tired of it. The motors are strong, but it had no get-up-and-go and the ride was awful. No insulation, windows would wistle, and driving by a semi was like trying to drive through a wind tunnel sideways.

Not to mention I got hit by an SUV going like 7 mph and it bent the rear axle and frame

Now back to the new car! Its mine now, I put the new heater hose assembly in, new thermostat, and also put in a new radiator because the seams on the old one looked pretty bad. Got an oil change and the oil pressure seems to be correct now, seemed a little low to me at first but I had a feeling it was just the filter being old. Gas gauge is a little off but that's no big deal. I'm just gonna drive it through the winter and then see about doing a few upgrades.

main thing is it drives and has no issues (now) and only has a few cosmetic problems.
