ok so i traced my leak to my compressor. I included a pic to show where it leaks. The green is the leak. I plan to replace it with a junkyard one. I know i have to replace the accumulator also but can that be used also? What else is needed? My chilton isn't very useful.

You will need new "O" rings to seal the hose connections, and new oil charge. Make sure the oil charge is compatible with the type of refrigerant you are going to use, otherwise the oil will turn into jelly and you will have to re-replace the compressor.

You should replace your drier-receiver (aka Accumulator) but if you are not replacing it make sure you leave the system open as little as possible. When you remove the lines from the compressor check inside the lines for metal or a black charcoal like substance. Plug the lines once you have inspected them. If you see either metal of charcoal don’t bother installing the compressor. The whole system will need flushed.
Once the compressor is off Drain it and make sure you measure the amount of oil you get out of it. Then drain the junk yard unit. Put new oil in the junk yard compressor equal to the amount you drained from your original compressor.
When you vacuum the system you want to keep it under vacuum at least 2 hours.
