Default AC Compressor Replacement '98 Z28

Hi,

This is my first post here and I need some help and guidance on replacing the AC system in my 1998 Z28 5.7L V8.

My Z28 has 71,000 miles on it, and one day the air starting blowing hot. The compressor is still blowing air but it is warm air, not cool.

I took my car to my dealer, who informed me that there were no leaks in the AC system, but the compressor needed to be replaced. He said there was an electrical problem inside the compressor. He also told me he needs to replace the drier/accumulator as well as the orifice tube/expansion valve.

My question: Is this AC System kit, shown here (scroll to bottom of page): >>>LINK<<<
a good deal at $365.00 since it includes a brand-new compressor, drier, and expansion valve? The AC compressor included is a Delphi clone, but it is new, not rebuilt.

Also, does $250.00 sound about right for the labor charge to have the AC System replaced (the price also includes flushing the system and recharing it with freon) in my car?

Thanks in advance!

I paid about $700 in labor to get mine redone, with labor. I have a 1998 SS.
