If you don't run the brake system low on pressure then you won't need to a computer to bled the brakes. There are several different computers out there that can be used to bled the brakes, not just ones that dealers have. I had a small BFE shop that used to do mine with a little $3K computer, can't remember what it was now.

If you're going to get back into the brakes, you might as well replace the stock rubber lines with SS braided lines. Older rubber lines will give you that squishy feeling.

So, if I understand correctly, if I don't have an ABS code set, and I keep the engine off, I can bleed my brakes just like I used to do with my '64 Nova? Sounds like a plan for next weekend.
