I live in the same area and found my car on Craigslist from a small used lot. If the seller supplies a VIN you can use the free eBay Classifieds to create a fake ad so you can view the Autocheck feature.

I would say regardless of where you find one, try to find one with minimal owners and from someone who kept detailed service records.

Craiglist where I bout mine. However, have it profesionally looked at. Presure gauge the motor, radiator, check sensors, if standard and high milage you may have to consider a new clutch assembly. Heads and overheating on these cars due to mileage or previous drivers seems to be a common problem. I just dumped over a couple of grand rebuilding mine.

I found mine on craigslist runs like a champ and got it for a steel only paid $1400 for a 95 Z28 that was a steal. haven't had any major problems with the car just had to replace the thermostat and radiator hose other than that she runs like a champ and roars like a lion
