Default 98 3.8L manual vapor lock?

Runs and drives great until it reaches operating temp, or it's a really hot day, the problem is that the car drive fine for a short amount of time, then once it reaches certain temperatures it starts to misfire and pudder. Not allowing me to go above 3 thousand rpm. If I continue to drive it will shudder so bad it shuts off and wont start until it has cooled down. My thoughts are a vapor lock is occurring. then again I am new to working on cars along with diagnosing them. Any help would be highly appreciated.

Vapor lock is really not a think with the higher pressure efi and the fact the system is constantly flowing would make vapor lock almost impossible even at lower pressures. Is the check engine light on? any codes. I would be thinking more along the lines of electronics over heating.

There is not a check engine light sadly. If there was I would have posted the code in the description. Should have mentioned it doesn't throw a check engine light

need to rent, borrow or buy a fuel pressure gauge and when it does the dirty deed you test the pressure, hook up the gauge and turn the key on. Im sure there's lots of you tube videos showing how to do it.
