Default '97 Z28 Power Seat Problem

I just purchased a '97 Z28. The driver's power seat has three side controls for adjustment. The control closest to the firewall (the forward-most control) doesn't do anything. Anyone know what that is supposed to do? It seems my seat back doesn't have "slant" adjustment with either of the other two controls so I am guessing the non-functioning control does this? Is it controlling a separate motor that possibly could be burned out? Maybe a wire disconnected? I don't know a heck of a lot about seats, etc. and didn't want to start tearing into removing that seat system without someone's suggestion. Thanks!

id have to go sit in my car to be certain on which one is where. but I believe the one you are talking about controls how high the fron of the seat sit. the other flat one controls the adjustment for the back of the seat and the round one controls the overall foreward/backwars and up/down movement. if the other controls work then I would say your have something like a connection problem or a bad motor.

That sounds about right. So there's a "mini motor" for each one of those controls? I was hoping it'd be something simple and easy like a loose connection.

normally your have one motor that and the switches just control which way it moves on the rails, I'll have to take a look at mine later and get back with you. unless anyone else on here already knows.
