the hinged ashtray lid on my 97 5-speed just broke, is there a way to replace it?

 

Mines broke too! Might luck up and find one at a salvage yard but every one I have found is also broke. Not even sure if you can still get them from dealer but if you can, I'm sure you would have to mortage your home to get it.

 

yea delaership is expensive. oh well its not like i use the ash tray ever.

 

Did the actual lid break or the hinge where it attaches to? There's always adding a switch panel or a delete plate if you don't want to replace the lid.
