Default 97 Chevy Camaro Can't use Key on either side door

I recently bought a 97 Chevy Camaro, it' not to shabby but of course there are some problems, and one I'm facing right now is I can't lock or unlock my car doors with my key from the outside. I can lock and unlock them from the inside of the car which they do actually lock and unlock but I just can' use the keys. On the Drivers side I can put the key in all the way but cannot turn it, while on the passenger side I can' even put the key in all the way. I need help how do I fix this so I can actually lock and unlock my car doors again. I forgot to mention I also tried putting WD40 on my key and insert it into key hole and I even tried just spraying it in it but won't work

Does the key work in the trunk and the glove box. If so it's not an issue of having the wrong key. Assuming that they are the correct door locks it sounds like the tumblers are stuck. I would continue spraying WD-40 into the locks and see if they free up. If not you will have to remove the locks and work on them outside the car or replace them. If only the key fob was ever used after 20 years the tumblers can become really frozen. They can be taken apart and freed up.

Thank you i spray more WD40 into my passenger side door and now the key actually works only problem is I did the same on driver side but still won' even budge so I'm going to have to take out the lock cylinder and see what is wrong

You can try tapping very lightly on the cylinder and see if that works.
