so after reading up on all the ways to replace a 96 camaro 3800 5 speed fuel pump i decided the "trap door" method will be the fastest and easiest. i really don't want to use a dreamel tool or grinder on account of sparks and blowing up my 300 dollar car so i was wondering if tin snips will work i read they would but i want the professionals opinion

thats what we did with mine craby still need to cut the hole .just use a cut off wheel like a 2 inch small one ,an have someone standing near if it makes you feel safe with water or ABC fire EXT ? you think ,you would have to have a hole in the tank for anything to happen ,just do it when your low on gas .take your time an in 5 minutes or less your there ,its to thick to cut with hand cutters unless there like huge mabey
