I have 2 '94's, one is a parts car, they both have Bose subs in the back. 1 has 2 door speakers and no rear speakers, other than the sub, it doesn't have wiring behind the panels in the back seat for speakers. The second '94 has 2 door, 2 back seat and a subwoofer. My '95 Z28 has wiring for 2 door, 2 rear seat and the subwoofer, of course all the speakers are gone, the RPO code is for a Bose sound system. I haven't checked the RPO codes on the '94's. The reason I asked about the part #'s, thanks 1augapfel, is you can find all kinds of GM and AC Delco Bose speakers, I want to be able to get something comparable to the oem speaker specs. I have the Bose system in my '05 Z71. I don't really care what anyone says, it's the best car audio system I ever heard, then again I'm not trying to rattle the fillings out of the guy next to me. Does anyone know if you can just change the speakers with a good quallity speaker if you have the little amps or can you use an amp between the head unit and a good set of speakers?

$411? Bwa ha ha ha -- they're completely delusional.

Gorn, Your 93 can't have the Monsoon system since it wasn't available until years and years later. For 93-96 the top shelf system was Delco Bose.

From what I've read owners of 93 and 94 Camaros with the Delco Bose system were more than a little irked that their premium system had fewer speakers (3) than the base audio system (4 speakers).

GM and/or Bose responded by revising the premium system to have 5 speakers.

As for a 94 with 5 speakers, well, who knows. My source info stated that the 5 speaker system was new for the 1995 model year. Maybe late 94s could have it as well.

Pig Hunter, look at the option sticker on the inside of the glove box door. Is U82 present on both cars? Is U82 on one and U65 on the other? What are the last 6 digits of the VIN on both cars? I'd be interested in learning that to see how early/late your cars are.

Let's not call each others baby ugly. Anyway, 1augapfel I'll try to post the RPO codes and vin's for the '94's tonight, if I get a chance. If not it'll be Sunday before I can get to it. By the way I found the bose speakers, new, for a lower price, only $298.76, if available. Here's the link

I need the last 6 digits of the VIN. The first numbers you've posted could be 135173, 235173, or 335173; the second could be 173808, 273808, or 373808. What dates are on each of the door jamb stickers?
Actually, I was hoping for an image of each SPI label to see what equipment the car had.

Sorry, I thought it said last 5. Percocets will do that to you. I can give you the whole vins, if you want. As as far as images, it was hard enough getting all the U codes off of the plate in the glove box in the project car, I have the glove box from the parts car in my shop so I can give you all of those. I just had back surgery yesterday, but I digress, here are the last 6 of each vin and all the codes off of the parts car.
Project car Last 6 of the vin; 173808
Parts car Last 6 of the vin; 135173
Parts car RPO codes; AH3 AK5 AR9 AV0 AV3 A31 A90 B35 C49 C60 DG7 DL5 FE9 F41 GU5 IPB J1F J41 K34 K68 L32 MX0 M30 NA5 NP5 N96 QCB R7A R8T STE T96 UB3 UU8 U65 U73 VK3 VM3 V73 1AY 1SC 6GM 7GM 73B 73I 8TB 81U 9TB
Also on the plate is; BC/CC WA- U8774 73B & Model 1FP87
