Default 95 Camaro..wanting a bigger motor

Well right my 95 camaro is stock with a 3.4 Sfi V6. I want to get something more powerful, im not quiet sure on what to get and how or where i can install this motor. I was looking more into a V8, but then again i dont know what is easy to swap in or out. Im here just looking for advice on what type of motor i can get thats easy to find. I would probably need to upgrade the tranny as well. It would be nice if i could hear some responses and tips on what to get.

This question get asked about every two to three weeks. There is even a sticky about. Back in the day you could pull a six cylinder out and pop in a V-8 in a weekend. Back then a small block GM altenator bracket was the same in a half a dozen cars.
Now almost every part of the motor, transmission and accessories are custom to the engine-body. You don't need an engine you need just about everything except the body. It is a huge undertaking. Donner car is the only way to do it. Chance are you could sell your car for $2500 and buy a V8 car for $5000. It would almost be impossible to do this convertion for the $2500 it would save you.
