ok my car is acting very weird my car idles really high rpms it stop a 3000 and does not go down! when i dirve it it runs by it selfs kinda like a auto cruse control! i have to break hard to stop her! my check engine light is on it reads coolant high I change the ECT sensor..
it starting to run a bit better I got a new Idle Sensor think might solve i was think of getting a new Crankcase sensor as welll

 

Check the throttle position sensor as well, sounds like that could be a culprit. Is the SES light still lit?

it could be the MAF too, couldn't it?

 

Usually when the MAF is going bad the PCM will start to ignore the bad signal. Something he could try is unplugging the MAF, this will make the car default to the MAP in which case it should run close to normal off the preset fuel maps.

learn something new every day. i just remember working on my dad's 86(now cus's) and his MAF went bad one time, and he was idling around 3k RPM. he knew right away what it was though.
