95 camaro 3.4 nothing happens when turn key

Default 95 camaro 3.4 nothing happens when turn key

put new regulator in drivers door. when done turned key. cranked for about 20 sec turned key off, turned key again nothing, noidiot lights no crank. key chime and head light chime work. check ign and pcm fuses and where good. checked batt cables also. anyone got any ideas. thanks

check the small wire at the starter for voltage when the key is turned to the start position. you will need a helper to hold the key while your under the car. if you have voltage at the small wire then most likely your starter decided to go. check for voltage at the big wire on the starter. should have same voltage as the battery. while your at it short the large wire connection to the small wire post. starter should turn over so be ready. also be ready for some sparks an dont ground the connection or you will get some big time sparks.

nothing works no window or radio or heater. headlights are fine, no diming when ign turned to start, maybe ign switch?

If the door locks and hatch release work, then the problem is with the ignition switch. If they do not work, the problem is with fusible link E in the bundle/terminal post near the battery.
