We bought a 96 Z-28 with 100.000 miles on it and it has some engine issues--ie noises, runs rough and so forth! I also have a 86 iroc z-28 and an mid yr vette, thing is when it comes to the newer cars with all the electronics and so forth I'm pretty much lost and know nothing about them! Im thinking it might be simpler to just replace the engine and was wondering what yrs the LT-1 are identical for a swap so everything will hook up without having to alter any wiring and so forth! Bought the car for my sons first car and got it for about 1/2 book value so I can putt a little $$ in it and not get hurt on it, it's a good looking, good solid driving/riding car other than the engine issues, may turn out to be something not to major with the orig engine but past experience tells me it probably isnt!!! Sure long for the days you could work on the cars like I canmy old vette!!
