How identical are lt1 and ls1 cars.

How identical are lt1 and ls1 cars.
I have a 95 z28 and my questions are
Will all, most or if any parts from a ls1 fit my lt1?
Will a door harness from a ls1 fit my lt1?
I know hoods doors bumpers and other obvious things wont fit. I am just trying to learn more on these cars cause I have to do some repairs. I want to change out both my windo motors because they go up very very slow. And the owner before me chopped the harness to the power door locks. I found an enterior harness for a ls1 for cheap.

There maybe some differences electrical wise but I don't know what they are. Although both cars have alot of similarities, there are plenty of differences. Things like seats, door panels, dash pad windows are the same, But everything engine is different. Even some light bulbs are different like the map lights. It just depends on the part.

I'm not sure engine-wise what you can use.. I wouldnt think a whole lot of things but I'm really not sure. Body wise there are some things though.. probably most parts from the doors back you could use. The body is basically the same from 93-97 as the 98-02 cars are with the main exception of the front end.
Not sure about the harness either, sorry.

Your safest bet is going to be on:
1)exterior doors back as Bill said
2)interior parts, seats, some of the plastic panels, you could swap out the whole dash/guage cluster if you wanted
3)Suspension and chassis parts, brakes etc.
Other than that, don't assume anything. 2 different motors, different sensors, overall stay away from trying to swap engine components or anything related to it.

My windows go up slow as well, slower than when they were new that is for sure and sometimes the drivers side window stops going up just before it is almost closed and takes a few times waiting to try again later =/
