Default 94 z28 spedometer and Gauges question

I have a 94 Z. It has the 110 spedometer. Ikno that the 150 switch would not require any recalibration with regards to speed right? However I heard I would still need to take off the limiter, how is this done? Okay next question where can I buy a 150 spedometer offline? eBay and any other places? Any luck looking in junk yards for one? Last question is, could I change my
Gauge cluster to a 97-02 cluster? Is that possible, I know the mileage tac is different.

wow i didnt know the z28 came with a 110 speedo. i dont see any reason you would need to change anything but the gauge cluster. now if you were to try and use a 150 overlay on the 110 it would be messed up. if its got the speed limit set you will need to tune or have the ecm tuned. to change the cluster to 97 you will need the whole dash. ive seen gauge clusters on ebabe, i have a 97-02 gauge cluster that i got from somewhere a long time ago and it wont fit. at least i think its still here. lol.

Yeah the car I guess didn't come with z rated tires from the dealership. So they would put 110 speedos on them. Where would I get the limiter taken off at? Would I need to buy something, scanner, programmer type deal? Or would a car shop be able to do this?
