Hi there hopefully someone can help me on this my gauge for my 79 camaro is fubar and i thought well maybe i can use the one from my 81 camaro now tho my speed is off and rpm wont show and the gas is just like cranked all the way past full so what am i missing here or do i have to try to track a 79 guage set down?any help would be great.

 

you have aproblem in the wiring its not the guages,did some body do a hack job one your wiring

 

possibly, first time i went back behind the gauges i just thought they arnt working casue they are somewhat differnt like the 79 has speed then the other right big one is fuel and the four small are jsut lights to glow red, now the 81 has speed and the right rpm and fuel at the top small left and clock bat and temp so u figure its my wireing so am i looking at a real bastard job here? the 79 panel worked ok tell the speed needel was broken wanted to change the face plates to these other ones i got but in that prosses the speed needel broke, so it did work before but now the speed seems off and rpm wont work and others are just not working? now it was working in the 81 fine tho.
