will this work on a 2001 v6 camaro???

It will work but your speedometer will be very inaccurate. Go to 6litereaters website and see if he has anything.

but if i got it calibrated it should be fine, rite?

I am thinking about getting the same thing and I am sure that if you got it recalibrated it would be fine.
