Default Driving on 23 year old tires!

My tires have the following combination of letters and numbers:
DOT 4B18 FJDR 284
According to Tirerack.com, for "Tires Manufactured Before 2000 The 2 digits used to identify the week a tire was manufactured immediately preceded a single digit used to identify the year."

Does this really mean these are the original tires from the factory manufactured 28th week of the 4th year of the decade; 1994?

I bought the car last October with 13,600 miles on it. Last week I had the tires rotated at the 25,000 mile mark. I use this car as my daily driver putting about 60 miles per day at highway speeds up to 70 mph. Sidewalls are great, pliable, no cracks or dry rot. Lots of tread but can see some tiny cracks between the tread on what were the front tires. All tires are P235/55/R16's.(Really hard to find now!)

Appreciate any input,
Philip
