94 camaro water pump problems

Default 94 camaro water pump problems

so i bought a 94 camaro for 400 bucks that needed a water pump i thought it would be an easy fix so i went for it tonight and i cant get to the last 2 bolts they are behind the powersteering pump bracket then when i try to remove the bracket i need to take the pully off to get to the 4 bolts behind it but i cant seem to break it loose either direction or get it off so if anyone out there has any sugestions please feel free to drop a coment or message before i put a bullet in this car lol oh and by the way this car is the 3.4 v6

You need a special puller to remove the power steering pulley. Many parts stores will loan a set of pullers free, but you will need to leave a deposit for the cost of the tools, just in case you forget to return them.

you need a power steering pulley puller. parts store should have one you can borrow or rent for cheap. book doesnt show the pulley needs to be removed to remove the bracket. thats not to say it doesnt, book has been wrong before. it does say the bracket needs to be removed and it looks like a couple of the bolts to the bracket also are to the water pump.
